This book has been written by the renowned author, Dr (Col) Rajinder
Singh, former Senior Advisor, Psychiatry in the Indian Armed Forces. The
author is currently the Director of Akal Drug De-Addiction Centres
situated at Baru Sahib (Sirmour) in Himachal Pradesh and Cheema
(Sangrur) in Punjab. Both the centres are the biggest drug de-addiction
facilities in both the states, being managed by The Kalgidhar Trust, a
charitable institution.
Dr (Col) Rajinder Singh has treated more than 11000 drug addiction patients since his retirement from Army in 1991.
