Reception
The reception is located at the entrance of the Drug De-Addiction Centre. The staff receive the patients and their relatives with due courtesy, attend to their queries politely and guide them properly regarding registration of patients and maintaining visitor's record.
OPD
The Out Patient Department (OPD) is managed by qualified and competent doctors who are available to the patients round the clock. We have separate examination rooms for male and female patients ensuring privacy and confidentiality during assessment.
Counselling
Treating patients requires holistic strategy, therefore, we offer dedicated services of counsellor at Drug De-Addiction Centres. The counsellors play a pivotal role in the management of drug addicts. Our management ranges from individual, group and family counselling at the Centres. Counselling is the backbone of de-addiction treatment. Qualified professionals and experts provide the services such as cognitive behavior therapy, motivation enhancement therapy, relaxation, yoga and meditation practices.
IPD / Ward
As per the assessment of doctors and psychologists, the patients are admitted in indoor wards for detoxification and rehabilitation. The wards are well ventilated and airy. Our wards have comfortable beds and clean linen. We also cater to the needs of patients requiring special care.
Dining
Wholesome and nutritious food is provided to the patients in a clean and hygienic dining hall. Keeping in view the health status of addicts, the diet is planned by a dietician. Only vegetarian food is served. Fresh vegetables and milk are sourced from our organic farms and dairy.
Recreation
Recreational facilities are managed keeping in view the requirements of patients. Games like badminton, volley ball, carrom board, chess, ludo etc. and LED TV in the common room are provided for their entertainment. We organize cultural activities on special occasions like Gurpurabs, National festivals etc. where the patients participate in Shabad Kirtan, poetry recitation and games.
Spiritual Rejuvenation
Spirituality is the backbone of our treatment program. We believe in holistic approach that covers mind, body and soul. Healing is faster if the patient recovers spiritually also. The Centres have a gurdwara where holy scriptures are recited. There is a routine schedule of prayers morning and evening where all the management, staff and patients participate.
Library
There is a spacious library in the Centres consisting of a wide range of books on Sikh history, philosophy, literature and on various other topics. The patients are encouraged to inculcate reading habits to gain knowledge and wisdom.
Pharmacy
There is an in-house pharmacy for dispensing of medicines to patients. Quality medicines are provided at reasonable rates. The pharmacy is manned by qualified pharmacist.
Medicine Dispensing Room
Medicines are provided by qualified nurses under the supervision of doctors/pharmacists. Following strict discipline, the medicine trolley goes to different wards at fixed timings for distribution of medicines. The staff ensures that the patients take medicines in their presence.
Staff Accommodation
Doctors, Staff Nurses, Ward Boys, Pharmacists and other staff members apart from the administrative staff reside in the residential accommodation within the premises of the Centres. The Centres have Decent accommodation for psychiatrists, psychologists, and visiting doctors who provide their services to the Centres.
Garden/Lawn
A green environment contributes in healing the patients so landscaping and lush green lawns are maintained in the Centres. Apart from aesthetic gratification, they provide fresh and oxygen rich air for walks.
